we are leaving for another budapest adventure very soon!

my cousin sent me these pictures of some mushrooms. they were harvested by my uncle and aunt from the forest in this magical rural village called Perocseny (outside of Budapest) where they have a summer cottage. I spent many summers there since I was a small baby.

on september 6th, jon and I will be running the Budapest Half Marathon!


it will not only be loads of fun BUT it will certainly be an interesting cultural experiment to see how my fellow Hungarians are during a race compared to Americans.
I predict they will be more competitive!
