recession proof exfoliation!

this exfoliating body polish is at Sephora for $65:

through the course of this economic downturn, many will continue buying things like body scrubs (jars of pre-mixed sugar, lemon juice and oil) for $65.  Some will pay $8 at CVS for something comprable.

I am here today, my fellow Americans, to ask you to continue to exfoliate despite the recession.
And to exfoliate your feet especially since summer is upon us.
And to exfoliate on a budget--with no excess packaging.  Go to your kitchen and concoct your own scrub from lemon juice and sugar (and maybe some olive oil) and proceed to your bathroom and scrub!  Scrub hard!  Your next interview will only go as smoothly as the soles of your feet!

And save your hard earned dollars for something better.

Someting more useful.

this weather

is best enjoyed with a cup of earl grey and this pouring into your ears.

laid off and laying down the alfalfa!

I always wanted to grow and eat my own alfalfa.
But I couldn't.  Until now!
'Cause you have to rinse them like 3 times a day to get them happy and sprouty and you can't really do that reasonably when you work.

But now I rinse them 3, 4, even 5 times a day and I am going to eat them soon!
Oh good!
